Baker Botts
Baker Botts originally opened its Palo Alto office in 2008 to be closer to their existing clients in the Silicon Valley. Since that time, the office has grown from four lawyers to more than thirty.
Their Palo Alto-based lawyers work with clients in the telecommunications, software, computer and electronics, semiconductor, medical device, pharmaceutical and clean energy industries, to name a few. In addition to a robust and nationally-recognized patent litigation practice, their lawyers provide counsel on a broad array of technology matters, including complex patent, trade secret, copyright and trademark infringement litigation, patent prosecution and portfolio management, technology and software licensing and IP aspects of corporate transactions. Baker Botts lawyers represent Fortune 50 companies, small start-ups and individuals on virtually all aspects of IP protection, licensing, monetization, risk analysis and dispute resolution, including litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country.
The office maintains a broad-based corporate practice, with securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments experience. They pride ourselves on the team approach they bring to every engagement, and they believe their collaborative approach improves the results they earn for their clients.
